What is ITA FX?
ITA FX is a project looking for traders with experience. We have a tailored program that works as an assessment to verify the trading ability of each person. Once a trader successfully passes the assessment, the trader will receive a virtual ITA FX account with MT5. This person will then be eligible to receive a % of the profits generated within the account. Trading is not easy, and our project has helped multiple traders grow without taking large risks trading their own capital.
How can I become funded by Institutional Trading Academy?
To become a funded trader, all you need to do is complete the assessment requirements through our Evaluation. For those looking to expedite the process and skip the challenge, it is possible to choose the Instant Funding option.
What is an evaluation?
An Evaluation is a step in which you trade on a demo account to show that you are capable of meeting our requirements as a trader. Each account has its own requirements.
What account sizes are available?
Our accounts include: $25,000 / $50,000 / $100,000 / $200,000 / $300,000 / $400,000
What is the maximum allowed capital I can manage?
Traders can manage up to $1,000,000 in virtual capital, which can be in a single account, or split between smaller accounts.
What happens if I violate a rule or do not meet the trading requirements?
If you violate one of the trading requirements during the assessment period, you will lose the eligibility for a funded account. If you violate a rule in a funded account, you will lose access to the funded capital and that specific trading account would be permanently closed. In this case, you are welcome to try again with a new account.

It is important to notice that not all violations happen automatically and in some cases, you will be notified by our risk team in case your account has violated our conditions. We also work with soft breaches and alerts, using a high-tech dashboard where traders can monitor their accounts along the way.
How can I track my progress?
You can track your progress through your personal dashboard at app.itafx.com. The dashboard provides real-time data on your account performance, including P&L, drawdown levels, and trading statistics.
What payment methods are available?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and cryptocurrency payments including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT. PIX is also available for Brazilian traders.
How many accounts can I manage?
Traders can manage multiple accounts up to a combined capital of $1,000,000. This can be distributed across different account sizes as you see fit.
Do I need to have experience to start?
While trading experience is beneficial, it is not strictly required. Our ITAfx Academy provides comprehensive educational resources to help you learn and grow. However, we recommend having at least basic knowledge of financial markets before starting an evaluation.
Can I change my password?
It is not possible to change the password — these are securely sent through our system and they will remain the same while the account is active.
How do payouts work?
Payouts are processed within 24-72 hours of your request. You can request a payout through your dashboard once you meet the minimum profit threshold. Payments are sent to your registered crypto wallet or payment method.
Do you offer a free retry?
Yes, in certain cases we offer free retries for traders who showed consistent trading behavior but narrowly missed their targets. Terms and eligibility depend on the specific account type and circumstances.
Which countries are restricted?
ITAfx services are not available to residents of: United States, Canada, Israel, Japan, North Korea, Belgium, Mauritius, and countries under UN/EU sanctions. If you reside in one of these jurisdictions, you are not eligible to register or use our services. For the full legal details, please review our Terms of Service.
Does ITAfx provide digital certificates?
Yes. ITAfx provides digital certificates for both completed evaluations and payouts. These certificates serve as verifiable proof of your trading achievements and can be shared on social media or with potential investors.
Am I responsible for my own taxes?
Yes. ITAfx does not provide tax advice. Traders are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on their earnings in accordance with their local tax laws. We recommend consulting with a qualified tax professional in your jurisdiction.
What does “according to real market” mean?
All simulated trading accounts on ITAfx use real market data and pricing. Your trades are executed against live market conditions, but with virtual capital. This means your performance reflects real market dynamics without risking actual funds.
How does the account work from a technical perspective?
When you purchase an ITAfx account, you receive MT5 login credentials for a simulated trading account. Your trades are executed on our infrastructure using real market data. Performance metrics (P&L, drawdown, consistency) are tracked in real-time on your dashboard at app.itafx.com.

What is your partnership program?
We offer a comprehensive partnership program where you refer and earn. Our commissions are paid weekly to your crypto wallet and you will receive up to 20% per referral. This is tracked automatically in your dashboard. Visit our affiliate page for full details.
What rewards do you offer?
Our affiliate program offers tiered commissions: 10% for 1-150 referrals, 15% for 150-300 referrals, and 20% for 300+ referrals. Additional bonuses and rewards may be available for top-performing affiliates.
How to request a reward payment?
You can request payment directly through your affiliate dashboard. Payments are processed weekly to your registered crypto wallet.
Payment frequency?
Affiliate commissions are paid weekly. You can track your earnings and request payouts through your affiliate dashboard.
Will I get paid for all purchases or just new orders?
You will receive commission on all purchases made by your referred users, including repeat purchases and upgrades, for the lifetime of their account.
Where to get my partner link?
Your unique affiliate link is available in your affiliate dashboard after registration. Simply log in and navigate to the referral section to find your personalized link.
Do I have to trade with you to be a partner?
No, you do not need to be an active trader to become an affiliate partner. Anyone can join the affiliate program and start earning commissions by referring traders.

Rules

Understand our trading rules, limits and profit targets.

Is stop loss required?
While not strictly mandatory on every trade, using stop losses is strongly recommended as part of responsible risk management. Consistent lack of risk management may be flagged by our risk team.
What is the Maximum Daily Loss?
The Maximum Daily Loss varies by account type: 3% for 1-Step, Instant, and Instant Pro accounts; 6% for 2-Step accounts. This is calculated based on the higher of starting equity or balance, reset at 00:00 CEST.
What is the Maximum Loss allowed?
The Maximum Overall Loss is 6% of the initial account size for 1-Step, Instant, and Instant Pro accounts; 12% for 2-Step accounts.
Do you allow Hedging and Martingale?
Hedging and Martingale strategies are prohibited under our trading rules as they are considered high-risk and potentially manipulative strategies.
Is News Trading allowed?
News trading is permitted across all ITA accounts. However, trades should demonstrate sound analysis and not rely solely on volatile news events.
Overnight holding of trades
Overnight holding is allowed on all programs. You can keep your positions open outside of market hours without restrictions.
Weekend holding of trades
Weekend holding is permitted on 2-Step and Instant PRO Funded Accounts. If trades are held over the weekend on Instant and/or 1-Step accounts, it will be deemed a hard breach.
Consistency Score
The consistency score ensures no single trading day represents an outsized portion of total profit. Instant Funded: 15%. 1-Step: 30%. 2-Step: 40%. Instant Funding PRO: not applicable.
What is a soft breach?
A soft breach is a warning-level violation of trading rules. It serves as an alert that you are approaching a rule limit. Soft breaches do not immediately terminate your account but indicate the need for corrective action.
What is a hard breach?
A hard breach is a definitive violation of trading rules that results in immediate account termination. This includes exceeding maximum loss limits, daily loss limits, or engaging in prohibited trading practices.
Prohibited trading
Prohibited trading includes: gap trading, high-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, hedging, reverse trading, tick scalping, server spamming, opposite account trading, and third-party copy trading. Violations result in immediate account termination.
Account Inactivity
Accounts with no trades for 30 consecutive days will be terminated. Make sure to keep your account active by placing at least one trade within every 30-day period.
EA's and Trade Copiers
Only approved trade management and risk management EAs are permitted. Third-party copy trading services and unapproved EAs are prohibited and may result in account termination.
What is the drawdown type used by ITAfx?
ITAfx uses trailing drawdown for Instant and Instant PRO accounts, and static drawdown for Step 1 and Step 2 Challenge accounts. The trailing drawdown follows your highest equity point, while static drawdown is calculated from your initial balance.
Are there IP-related rules?
Yes. Each trading account must be accessed from a consistent IP location. Trading from multiple geographic regions simultaneously may trigger a security review. If you travel frequently, contact support beforehand to avoid any issues.
Can I use a VPS or VPN?
VPS (Virtual Private Server) usage is permitted and even recommended for EA/algo traders to ensure consistent execution. VPN usage is allowed but should not be used to mask your actual trading location. Contact support if you have specific questions about your setup.
Is gambling-style trading allowed?
No. Gambling-style trading — such as placing excessively large positions relative to account size, or making random directional bets without any analysis — is strictly prohibited. ITAfx expects traders to demonstrate consistent, disciplined trading behavior.

What trading platforms are available?
We are licensed to operate with the platform MT5. In the future, we will be adding further options for our traders.
Can I change platforms?
Currently, MT5 is our sole trading platform. We are working on expanding platform options in the future.
What are the spreads and commissions?
Our spreads and commissions are competitive with industry standards. Specific spread information is available on our MT5 platform. Commissions vary by instrument type.
What instruments can I trade?
You can trade Forex pairs, Indices, Commodities, and Cryptocurrencies on our MT5 platform. The full list of available instruments is visible within the platform.
Where are the servers located?
Our trading servers are located in strategic data centers to ensure low latency and reliable execution for traders worldwide.
How to login to the platform?
Download MT5 from our platform or the official MetaTrader website. Use the credentials sent to your email after account purchase. Select the appropriate server from the server list.
I can't find server
If you cannot find the server, try searching for "ITAfx" or "ITA" in the server list. If the issue persists, contact our support team at support@itafx.com for direct server connection details.

How can I access my dashboard?
Your Dashboard can be accessed at app.itafx.com/login. Once you become part of ITA FX, your credentials will be emailed to you, as well as the account credentials.
What information is available through my dashboard?
Your dashboard provides comprehensive account data including: real-time P&L tracking, drawdown monitoring, trading history, consistency score, account status, payout requests, and affiliate earnings if applicable.
Requesting a payment
To request a payment, log into your dashboard and navigate to the payout section. Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your payout request. Payments are typically processed within 24-72 hours.
